BSA Performer Register - 2018

Why it's good to have students perform live on campus

The BSA employs students for casual work whenever the opportunity arises. Singers and musicians performing on the SU floor or SU deck help create a fun and engaging student community. Typical gigs are one hour slots when we run free student lunches or special events during the day. Longer gigs are available for things like BSA member nights.

The hourly rate for performing is $60/hour.

The register is not intended for bands wanting to play in major events like O Week.

Complete the form below if you are a current La Trobe student who wants to be considered for casual entertainment slots on the Bendigo campus. The application is open for solo performers or duos who can set up quickly and perform in a small space.

You will need to supply your own instrument, leads and music stand (if required) but the PA system, microphones and mixing desk will be supplied by the BSA.

The BSA will try to give opportunities to everybody on the list but more work will be offered to students who are talented, punctual and reliable.

Students are covered by the BSA insurance policy for public liability. Please submit a completed Statement by a Supplier form to the BSA Info Desk if you do not have an ABN.
